Name 5 THINGS ALWAYS in Your FRIDGE!

In my icebox you'll always find sour cream, unsalted butter, cream cheese, plain yogurt and fresh cheese. What's always "LIVING" in your fridge?

59 Comments:

Milk (skim and 2%)
Various Cheeses
Butter
Bottled Water
Grape Juice

skim milk
bottled water (still and sparkling)
Fresca
yogurt
multiple cheeses

Dijon mustard
Butter
Wine
Cheese
That dead fly that's still behind the vegetable crisper (just kidding)

Five is really tough. I'll pretend a wine cooler and a water dispenser/beverage chiller don't count:-) Neither does the vegetable crisper, for that matter!

milk (skim, 2% and soy for hubby)
cheeses
sour cream
condiments (I'm sooo proud of myself for this one because it covers, well, all condiments!)
eggs

Use to be milk but now I can go a week or two without it.

Earth Balance (butter only better; which I never thought I'd say)
organic ketchup (for the kid so she'll eat other better things but no HFCS)
organic peanut butter

The rest are often but not must have except various fruits and veggies in season (I just found a mango that fell behind the dang ketchup...).

milk/yogurt
ketchup
peanut butter
cheese
produce(any kind...)

Milk, butter, eggs, cheese, Pepsi.

Oh yeah, and some sort of dribbled something-or-other that is eternally sticky. I clean it and the next day it's back, but it's moved and/or changed color. Since there are only the two of us humans and the Labrador has yet to grow opposable thumbs, I blame my son.

He probably stays up nights planning how the next sticky spot will be bigger, better, more colorful and yes, stickier. I believe his ultimate goal is to glue the capers to the glass shelves so firmly that the jar can never be removed. He doesn't like capers.

-yogurt
-a brine for pork (never used but I cannot bring myself to throw it away since it includes an enormous amount (read $$$) of sea salt, whole peppercorns and cloves)
-yeast
- partially used (and no longer edible) jar of spaghetti sauce and/or salsa
- bleu cheese in some form or another

oh...yellow mustard, because every time we have a cook out, I buy another bottle. There is currently 6 bottles in our fridge.

@Calichef - the worst day of my life was when I realized a jar of olives had somehow come unscrewed, tipped over and solidified every jar on the fridge door to the shelf. It also smelled like vinegar.

Currently there's a big hardened milk spot I haven't had the energy to scrub yet - BF didn't realize that milk cartons that close with the plastic tops? CAN'T BE STORED ON THEIR SIDES!!

Kimchi or its lingering odor
