MonkeyDish from RBMagazine
Monkey Dish put together by Restaurant Business Magazine - it's a new site (which additionally seems to have some sort of affiliation to the Culinary Institute of America).
I'm curious as to what you think of the site, and why. No good reason, really.
I know what my reactions were and just want to hear others. :)

1st impression: I'm happy to discover it's not a site about eating monkeys.

Kind of reminds me of my customized google page.
I think Monkey Dish is a term used for those large, high sided oval diner dishes implying a monkey could carry them without spilling their contents.

It's horribly done for what is supposed to be a professional site.
I hate websites that load up with sound, whether it's someone blabbering or music playing...one of the main reasons I hate MySpace.
It's too busy, that I didn't want to read anything on the page.

Well, if you're interested in my reaction, I wish I could send you a picture of my face as the site loaded up:-). I agree with everybody else, they have too much going on and their design is not really appealing (to me, at least:-)). My first impulse was to just close the tab right away, but I stayed for a couple of seconds. I even successfully got rid of several screens that were of no interest to me (like, the one with the weather), but sadly, it didn't bring the clarity I hoped for, and the site remained "cluttered" and rather amateurish-looking anyway. I doubt I'd want to visit it again any time soon.
