Looking For Botanicals For Cocktail Bitters In NYC
So I'm going to be making my own cocktail bitters, I have some pretty crazy ideas (pirate bitters, ninja bitters, dragonfruit bitters etc) and was wondering where in NYC (Manhattan ideally) can I purchase items such as hyssop, wormwood, milk thistle etc? Anybody got some help for me on this one?

It sounds silly, but check with Wiccan sites. My roommate in college was Wiccan, and ordered all sorts of dried herbs and botanicals for her magick. Dunno if any of it worked for spells, but our room always smelled good, and she got these botanicals by the baggie. I remember specifically that milk thistle was one of them and she ordered them online. Good luck!

You probably can find some form of hyssop, milk thistle, and wormwood at Whole Foods. I was also able to find all of them at Amazon.com grocery.
