Interesting lecture that all foodies should watch!

You may or may not know Mark Bittman, but he presented some good points in his lecture about food. It is very interesting and will probably make you think.

Too late tonight, but I'll check it out tomorrow.

Site question:
Did anyone else have a problem with the "Little Mark" feature on Required Eating? I have never had that happen before, but every time I tried to "continue", page 2 had the info and photos from page 1, but nothing else. I saw that there were comments, so others must have been able to get the full page. Mine was blank, with no continuation or comment section. 'Tis a puzzlement.

i just watched the video, very interesting! in was born in 1988, and i grew up eating all that bad fast food that bittman refers to. the benefits of no longer eating meat from a health standpoint would certainly be positive, but what about the influence that meat dishes have on the culture of food in America? chicken pot pie, buffalo wings, fried chicken, steak, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, turkey dinners... these are all national classics... would you be able to give them up?

perky, you can go to youtube and search for the mini minimalist. the videos are all there. he's a hoot.
