Ice Cube Trays
I'm looking for an ice cube tray that makes ice cubes at least 1.5" cubes. Bigger cubes would be even better. I'm trying to find these so I can have giant cubes for when I drink whiskey on ice.

Tovolo trays may be about the closest; they make 1 1/4-inch cubes, the same size as Kold-Draft. You can also get 2-inch spherical molds from momastore.org. Some bars in New York make larger cubes, but they venture out of the kitchen store and into office & storage stores to get small plastic boxes that can be adapted as molds.

I bought something similar to this for my daughter's under the counter refrigerator that had a narrow freezer across the top. It made great ice cubes, and easy to remove because of the silicone. Freeze cubes in bag or container and make more. Also makes great muffins! I bought mine at a kitchen outlet store for just a couple of dollars. Make sure you get one with a wire rack for stability. Hope this helps.

I have the old-style ice cube trays with the divider inserts/lever from my grandma's old fridge.
I took out every other divider and I get 2"x2.5 " cubes. Love them.

I bought a good silicone one from Ikea. At least two inches in each dimension, and probably cost a dollar. Only 4 cubes at a time, though.
