Foodie Posters?
So, I just recently ordered my first actual set of bedromo furniture (it's about time to get rid of the little girl's stuff), and am looking to re-decorate my room a little bit. I can't afford brilliant art pieces, but I have a real thing for vintage ads, and vintage posters of all kinds.
I have been looking around trrying to find something nice, but I have this nagging interest in finding something like a vintage poster of candy ads or things like that, and am having trouble finding them. Does anyone have an idea of where I might be able to look for something like that? I mean, like old Snickers ads, or for coffee or the like?

Look at this! I googled Babette's Feast Movie Poster. You could search on your favorite foodie movies and look for their posters.

The cheapest thing might be to create a collage of old advertisements yourself--I had to get rid of an old stove yesterday, and went through recycling the old instructions--lots of old pictures of advertisements of moms cooking, dads grilling, and so forth. Going to thrift stores and garage sales, you might find old magazines and books that cost nothing and are really unique, rather than lots of posters everyone is buying over the net.
Decorating with old coffee cans you find in someone's basement or garage, and so forth is another cheap idea.

It can be hit or miss, but the framed prints section of TJMaxx, World Market, and BedBath&Beyond all carry foodie prints. TJMaxx recently started carrying original canvases as well...some are really cute and fun with a vintage feel.
