Food Blog Name Suggestions
So I'm not new to cooking as I've been doing it most of my life. I am new to blogging however and am having quite a time coming up with a name that isn't already being used by someone else. I love to use fresh ingredients and I am very passionate about food. I want a food blog so that I can chronicle my culinary adventures, whether phenomenal or disastrous. If I were wealthy, I'd offer some sort of incentive. I've no money to give for your ideas, but I can pass along a (((HUG))) and a =).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I will share with you what I tell my clients....
I think a person's domain name or blog persona is really personal. Without knowing you really well or having a lengthy dialogue (such as brainstorming with a close friend), it would be difficult to make appropriate suggestions for your web personality.
That being said, I would suggest you use a domain name generator to spark your own creativity.
e.g.
http://www.makewords.com/
There are also online Thesaurus that can be used to find the right word to fit what you are trying to say. You can also simply google descriptive words & surf the results which can spark some creativity.
In the end, you'll find have an Aha Moment and the right name will come to you.
Good Luck & let us know when you start blogging!

I would suggest looking at food related quotes and phrases to get started...find one that represents you, and then tweak it a little to personalize it (keep it short! I think mine is a little too long. SeasonedWithAbandon but I like it.) Quote Garden is a good place to start.

Also, don't forget to look at the words smooshed together as a website address. Some words can be...interesting.
A friend blindly sent me a link at work to a website. I saw "[possessive pronoun] hoes." Of course, being at work, I didn't click the link. I forwarded it home, and discovered it was a shoe website.

A popular mechanism is to come up with two of your favorite ingredients or foods you like best and make that the title of your blog (i.e. "Chocolate and Zucchini"..."Coconut and Lime"). The main point is that the blog is representing you so pick out a name YOU like and that encompasses some of your favorite things or sayings.

Is currently available to register. I'm not sure that fits the type name you desire.
But I wouldn't be surprised if somebody here registers it.

This is one my friend suggested to me when I first started up my blog:
Blogaghanoush
Shout out to Therese Bailey in Jersey City haha.
A bit complicated to spell, but very funny I think.

If we give you a suggestion for a name and you use it, do we get royalties for the use of our idea?

My Stepmother's Apple
Cookin' for the Seven Dwarves
Fairy-Tale Cookery
But to be serious the strongest words you used in your introduction were "fresh" "passionate" and "culinary" so if I were you I'd start from those thoughts.

Much depends on scoring the URL. I'd come up with a few favorites (keep it simple, catchy and easy to spell, yet unique enough to Google...) and check 'em out at a domain registry. You don't want to start a blog at Blogger or WordPress, gain popularity and then find out that someone already snatched up the .com...

EatLife.com would have been nice, and I was even thinking about grabbing it myself when I saw you list it, but unfortunately that one has been registered since 2002.
It's just a parking page, so it might be worth an email to the owner, to inquire about purchasing it. Some domainers have pie-in-the-sky prices in mind, but there's still some bargains, and 'realistic' sellers to be found if you shop around.

I am not affiliated with those websites in any way, and there are plenty of other sources out there. Those are just 2 that I have used with success.
