just saw this on Grub Street and checked it out - VERY cool to see Chef Ripert in action and cooking his famous fish: Avec Ripert

Looks cool, but we'll see how long he keeps it up. It often seems to be the case that many chefs start blogs but don't often keep on blogging.

I watched the first two videos - the entire thing seems more like a vehicle for corporate sponsors instead of an actual blog. Sad. I would have loved to read something from Eric Ripert that didn't read "corporate shill."

it certainly has a different feel than his pastry chef's blog..

i realized have been under-seasoning until now, i always wondered why my fish always tasted bland...duh

i'm a salt/pepper coating convert now
