OMG!!! I hate to say it but, I think I may buy a case of this stuff. I'll use the excuse that it would make great joke stocking stuffers for the campers in my life... ok you may hang me by my thumbs now.

My husband walked by and did a doubletake when he saw the canned bacon.

Think I've mentioned before that I have a can of bacon that I found under the back seat/bed of an early 1960s vintage VW camper that I bought in 1970! God only knows how old it is. Over the years I've added a whole canned chicken and canned frankfurters to my collection. I plan to fund my retirement when I finally sell ;~)

I've checked out this site as well....my hubby is in the AF Reserves and shared the joy of MRE's with me....some of them are actually edible...but not many!
The canned bacon would be great for camping....if it tasted good.
