Anne Burrell's new show, will you watch it?

Ok Anne Burrell is a chef that I respect. Loved her menu at Centro Vinoteca, never went to Gusto's (is she still there?) New show on the FN called "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" Problem #1 it premieres this Sunday at 9:30 AM, yes AM. For those who are Tivo-less, who in their right mind is up and coherent at that time? And if the show is anything like the little two minute snippet video where her secret is putting in a little pasta water to thin out the bolognese sauce and flicking a pan to toss the pasta and sauce together thoroughly, Then this series may be short lived because only hard core food lovers will even get up at that time to watch this show.

hate to say it, but i will probably set my alarm to make sure i dont miss it. I love Anne Burrell.

Oh yes, a new "real" chef with a Food Network show... BRILLIANT!

The moment I heard about this show, I promptly set a new season pass on my Tivo - I have a great deal of respect for Anne Burrell, and no, I am not usually up and running at 9:30 am on Sunday. Not a good time slot to promote a new show, by all means.

This is the first show on TVFN I am anxiously awaiting in a very, very, very long time.

Hey! I resemble that remark!! I'm up at 4:15 a.m. every weekday morning for the gym. At the latest 6:30 a.m. on weekends naturally, with no alarm. I know we morning people are a rare breed but we're not extinct yet. :D

What!!!!???? a real chef on Food network who would've thought.....and at 9:30am I will get up to see her, just wonder why the people don't put her in prime time, and drop some of other programs into the early morning slots I can think of the Neely would probably work at 8am and maybe Paula at 830 and put Anne on at 11am and Tyler on in the prime time viewing...Seems to me Fn sets these chefs up to fail and then they can be seen on the travel network with a hit show...kinda reminds me of somebody... wonder who that might be???

Definitely gonna try the show.

Yikes! That's 7:30 here in the west, but I will surely record it. The only thing I know about Anne Burrell is seeing her with Mario on Iron Chef. There is just something about her that makes me know she will be worth watching. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll DVR it for sure. Did anyone else notice that in the promo they kept showing her making the weirdest faces and movements, kind of turned me off from watching, but I'm sure that isn't the whole show.

I agree with the bizarre 'testing' times that FN seems to have. I get up early on Saturday mornings to watch Nigella and Jamie Oliver... I often wonder why they do that. I'd like to watch Anne Burrell's show but this time couldn't be worse!

I'm so excited about this show! It's like FN is like TJ Maxx or something - all the junk is right up front, but if you dig around, you find some pretty great stuff.

LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT! Finally someone who seems real. Loved the personally, loved the tips and loved the food. I will set this up as a season pass.
