A Good, Really Quick, Lunch Near Penn Station?
The topic title says it all. I work in the mid-30s on 8th ave, and usually only take a short amount of time for my lunch breaks. I'm Looking to move beyond Gray's Papaya and S&S Indian Express.

I like the sandwiches at Macaron Cafe on 36th near 7th. Suprema is good for an upside down slice (on 8th at 31st). Or walk 2 more blocks, and you can hit up Salumeria Biellese for an excellent Italian sandwich.

Thanks a lot! I'm going to try Macaron this afternoon.

That's definitely one of the hippest places that I've ever gone to for a sandwich.

Heh, it's definitely more hip than you'd expect for the neighborhood. What'd you get? Did you like it?

if you don't think korea town to be too far, i suggest Woorijip on 32nd between broadway and 5th ave. or kofoo on 8th ave between 26th and 27th street. and yes i agree with Salumeria Biellese oohhhh sooo good.

I got the Norwegian sandwich. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, lettuce and capers between two thick slices of French bread. It was tasty. I'm curious what cream cheese they use, it had just the right amount of creaminess.
