What side is your bread mayo'd on

I've noticed two posts on here today about mayonnaise or miracle whip...so let me ask you: When you're spreading anything on your bread for sandwiches (excluding buttered bread exteriors for grilled things) do you spread the interior bottom only, top only or both? I do both--because it tastes sooooo good.

Both for me. :)

Butter bottom, mayo and/or anything else, top.

Top only, unless it's a sandwich that requires two spreads. In that case, one goes on the bottom, the other on top.

If tomato is involved, it always goes on top of everything so that it's right up against the mayo.

Both, unless like dbcurrie said two spreads are involved, then it's top and bottom separate. I truly do enjoy the mayo! In fact, I'm pretty fond of most condiments!

I do only one side - I just like a taste... and I like to be able to taste everything on the sandwich. The mayo goes on the side that will compliment what ever is touching it - hopefully the cheese or the tomato.

Definitely depends on the spread(s) and the sandwich.

bottom, please...and don't touch my cheese!

Both.

If I am making a sandwich with meat and cheese and miracle whip. ( don't care what you think. I like Miracle Whip) I even spread a little between the meat and cheese.

Hamburgers- both sides mustard or mustard on top, bbq sauce on bottom. The only time I leave the bread dry is when I put on guacamole.

Both. If I'm trying to keep my sandwich together with some yummy mayo adhesive, why not secure both sides?!

BOTH!!! There used to be a time when toast was only dressed with mayo... not butter.
