Toronto Wedding Reception Restaurant Recs
I'm looking into as many options as possible for my wedding reception... wondering if anyone can think of good restaurants in Toronto that could host a reception for 60 people.

My sister had hers at the Delta Chelsea - the Elmwood Club. She had a cocktail party reception for probably about that number. It was great.

Check out the Old Mill Inn

I can't think of a place, but check out the Frugal Bride website. I know that a lot of Torontonians hang out there.

I haven't been to many weddings here but my husband raves about a wedding reception he went to at Lai Wah Heen. If you like Chinese banquets!
What sort of meal are you hoping to have?

I would love to have a really adventurous, delicious, elegant meal. Unfortunately, aside from my fiance, myself, three of my close friends and my mom's best friend everyone else is of the meat and potatoes set. Blah.

@joan - I am looking into the Old Mill. My major reservation regarding the Old Mill is that two family friends have had weddings there already.

Jamie Kennedy at the Gardiner would probably be beautiful! I went there for dinner a few weeks ago and could so easily visualise it for a wedding.
Also, The Fifth would probably be great (but, like Jamie Kennedy, quite expensive). Sunnybrook estates are also beautiful, although not a restaurant. The Drake Hotel and the Gladstone both also do weddings, and would bring your wedding some 'downtown cool'.
And keep in mind... you can do some pretty delicious and sophisticated things with meat and potatoes!
