Iron Chef on Fine Living--where's the song???
Did anyone else notice that Iron Chef (the original dubbed Japanese version) is being played on Fine Living Network, but that they have changed the iconic Iron Chef song? How can they do this to my beloved show? Is it really Iron Chef without it's special music? Am I nuts?

There's a song? I would have been really upset if they had edited out the chairman's wardrobe.

I believe the theme to the Japanese Iron Chef is the same as the theme music from the movie "Backdraft". Fine Living may not have been able to secure the rights to the music.
They also dubbed over or stripped the music off of Molto Mario and replaced it with cheap synth. It's annoying.

I'm watching it now and I see what you're saying - even though I don't remember the original, I can tell that something is missing/different and it's oddly annoying.
