Do you know any swedish desserts?

I'm doing a project on Swedish desserts, do you know any?

Lingonberry tart or pancakes
Google any of these for an array of recipes I am sure.
There are a couple of good steamed puddings as well, that I cannot recall the names of.
Lots of the big recipe sites have international sections with lots of Swedish recipes.

You'll find recipes for Kanelbullar (cinnamon rolls), Hjortronparfait (cloudberry parfait), Nyponsoppa (rosehip soup) and Saffransbullar and pepparkakor (saffron rolls and gingersnaps) as well as some history about the food.

None of the above pancakes are anywhere like what you get for breakfast here in the US.

Ostkaka, which is usually called Swedish cheesecake, but is nothing like American cheesecake. It's traditionally made with raw milk, to which rennet is added so the milk coagulates, then after the whey is drained off the curds are baked. It's served warm with lingonberries and whipped cream.

It was so good they licked the plates. I think that some cut up apple or filling of your choice would work well with it. As is it was very very good.
The recipe easy and dough forgiving.
Try this its a darn good tea ring.

A friend once made me a Swedish dessert called a Princess Cake. It was quite beautiful (covered with a layer of tinted marzipan) and tasty (filled with whipped cream). I don't know about the "princess" derivation but it was a damn fine cake!

Swedish Rice Pudding

A traditional Swedish treat that's hard to beat for dessert!
Ingredients

1/2 C. rice
1 C. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. margarine or oil
4 1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

Cook together the first 4 ingredients until done but not dry. Scald milk and add to cooked rice. Add sugar. Beat eggs slightly, gradually pour some of the hot mixture into the eggs while stirring.

Then add eggs to the rest of the milk/rice/sugar mixture; add vanilla. Pour into baking dish (2 1/2 quart size). Place dish in pan with water in the bottom. Bake at 250 for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
