Any recommendations for Father's Day brunch or lunch in Astoria?
We're looking for a place to take my two very elderly parents and our two kids (20's) on Father's Day. Good food in a casual setting, such as a great diner, would be fine, but we'll need to make reservations since standing on a long line is not an option. Ethnic food is OK too.
Where would you go? Thanks for the help!

Hmm. I'm somewhat familiar with the area, so I'll take a stab. All the casual diners I know there don't take reservations, but I think these places might:

The Brick Cafe is a nice spot, more upscale than a diner, but not too fancy. Most brunch items are $7-15, the menu is pretty large for a brunch menu, and the food is really very good for the price. On warm days there's also outside seating and they do take reservations.
