What food smells can make you hungry?

you have just finished eating and are full. But all of the sudden you smell_________ and you are hungry again.

For me:
Bacon cooking
Popcorn popping
Sesame Oil

If I smell any of these, even if I have just eaten an ox, I get that "man, I'm hungry" feeling.

Thanks for all the great ideas! just thinking about all those different smells sets my drool button going! Then there is fresh seafood...grilled, broiled, sauteed, fried....(I sound like Bubba in Forrest Gump!)

onions and garlic - such a classic combination for taste and smell
ribs being slowly cooked until they're so tender they practically fall off the bone

I read that the scent of vanilla is supposed to curb your appetite. Anything that smells like something good is cooking/grilling/baking will whet mine.

The smell of Basmati rice steaming. Corn tortillas on cooking on a griddle. Bacon cooking. Rosemary. Onions caramelizing. Butter browning. Baking bread. The aroma of potatoes frying. Minced garlic and anchovy slowly melting in olive oil over the lowest heat my stove can produce. Meat slowly braising in my oven or slow cooker. Leeks melting in butter.

I'm not sure if this is weird, but sometimes smelling a beer with a particularly malty and yeasty aroma will make me hungry.

The smell of cheeseburgers. They are so bad for you, but perhaps the most perfect food on the planet.

fresh bread. mmmmm carbs

Waking up to the smell of bacon cooking and coffee!
Anything grilled .. even just the charcoal starting.
Coming home from church and smelling the roast 'whatever'

vanilla or cinnamon
fresh-cut herbs from the garden

@PerkyMac; If that is true, I need to stuff cotton balls in my nose doused with vanilla extract! Talk about the new diet of 2008!! Swimsuit season is just around the corner.

bacon, for sure
melting butter, preferably with onions or garlic sauteing
a good tomato sauce bubbling away
cinnamon rolls

Yikes, real vanilla smells so very good...I'd forever be in a daze.

Vanilla candles, sprays, and lotions make me ill -- now that would work for me as an appetite suppressant. :P

Let's see:

Anything being grilled or bbq'd
Cookies in the oven
Lasagna, baked ziti in the oven
Coffee brewing-but only in the am
cutting fresh herbs
Sauteed/Roasted Garlic
Teriyaki anything (esp. shrimp)

Ok, now I am just hungry. And people say I'm a picky eater...ugh

Oooh....definitely pizza. Next, I'd say popcorn and anything on the grill.
