Don't yell at me if it's not quite Leaside, I'm not too good at anything east of Yonge :-) But it's called Marvellous Edibles, on Laird near Eglinton, by the big box mall thing. Easy to miss, keep an eye out. It's pretty casual, but the food is delicious and the baked goods are all house-made. Dinner menu is new every day (they always have steak frites and a few other things, but everything else is a surprise when you go); weekday lunch menu does not change but has incredibly delicious sandwiches. We haven't made it for brunch, too far from where we live for weekend mornings so far. :-) May want reservations on weekends, not always needed. http://www.marvellousedibles.ca/ According to the site he is not actually Alsatian but that is how the food comes out - German guy, French training.
