Trader Joe's Coffee
Has anyone noticed that their coffee in the store taste much better than you make it at home? I'm wondering if there's a "secret" recipe they add.

Properly ground, fresh opened beans; water at the right temperature and with a good extraction time.

What's your coffee process? Also, which TJ beans do you buy?

Try upping your bean to water ratio and making stronger coffee. Freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee shouldn't be bitter. I buy TJ's coffee all the time (all different kinds, but the dark roasts are my favorite) and I love it.

I LOVE TJ's for coffee, tea as well. I'm more of a coffee drinker and I like to try different their different types every so often. I can't add anything that the SEs before me did. (Also, have you ever tried a coffee press?)
