It's pizza night!

So, it's pizza night here at my humble abode. Basically, I have grilled my arse off for 8 straight days and I am grilled out. So, my question of the day to all my SE-ers is....if you were a pizza, what kind would you be???

pizza night here too....my husband is a pepperoni pizza....and I'm a pizza with lots of onions, sausage & cheese. :-)

I guess I should have answered my own question...

I am a sheet of red with pineapple, hot peppers and ham.
Jake is a sheet of red with julienned salami so it gets all crispy. 2 slices with black olives.
We will jointly be an 8" white with potato and bacon.

Long live Wedgewoodpizza.com!

I think I'm half green pepper and onions, half eggplant, with extra extra sauce. My boyfriend is italian sausage and pineapple with extra cheese! I like this question.

I would be a simple pie. Dough brushed with olive oil, then layered with thinly sliced jalapeƱos or Serrano peppers, fresh mozzerella & Parmesan, little bit of slivered garlic and some flaky salt.

Or, I would be a more complicated pie with slightly spicy sauce, sliced Andouille sausages, mozzerella and sliced fennel.

I am either of these:

a white pizza with extra garlic, broccoli, and spinach with mozzarella and ricotta cheese

a white pizza with garlic, crab, scallops, and shrimp with mozzarella cheese

MMmmmm...I want one. Now.

The difference between my favorite kind of pizza and what kind of pizza I *am* is probably a lot.

We recently made an amazing flavorful thing with bresaola, smoked mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and arrabiatta sauce. Spicy! Yum! That's my husband.

I think I'm meatball and onion with extra garlic, red sauce, and whole wheat crust. Which is also one of my favorites. But meatball definitely reflects my personality. ;)

Deep dish Chicago style baby!!
Artichokes, black and green olives, peppers, lots of mushrooms, onion, spinach, tomato, good italian sausage (lots of fennel seeds), good mozzarella, spicy sauce with fresh parm....
Hungry now...

I'm a white pizza with caramelised onions, rosemary and kalamata olives.

Hubby would be a cheese-less pie with bacon, sausage, Canadian bacon, ham, pepperoni, sausage, onions and peppers...and he's saying it'll have pineapple, too.

Yep, we're that different!

I'm a Pizza Margherita from a wood fired oven in Napoli. My husband is a meat lover's pizza from the local franchise.

I'm a thin crust, garlicky red sauce, fresh mozz and fresh basil, and I like it when you sprinkle me with lots of crushed red pepper.

Green pepper and pineapple. I will not explain why.

As long as I can pick it up, any kind!

I am a NYC cheese pizza all the way!!!!

Pepperoni, italian sausage, zuccini and fresh garlic with light cheese and a good red sauce.

regular crust brushed with olive oil then sprinkled with rosemary roasted garlic and just a little parm. and maybe a light sprinkle of toasted pine nuts once I come out of the oven ;) (dont ask you really dont want to know)

Thin thin thin crust. With a good layer of mozzarella and maybe some pancetta and pineapple on top. :)

Oh, and caramelized onions piled sky high.

and maybe honey mustard.

I'm just trying to make myself drool....why don't we just pile everything delicious you can think of on and leave it at that?

Caramelized onions, goat cheese, and fresh green figs on a crusty focaccia. Not really "pizza" in the normal sense, but then again, I'm not really normal. LOL

I would be a cheese pizza with just one single piece of every possible topping imaginable spread around so the each bite is different. Sometimes adjacent bites would work together, sometimes they wouldn't. Sometimes it would be harmonious, sometimes it would be psychotic. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. And every now and then, a bite would be toppingless and boring.

Definitely a pizza bagel on an everything bagel. With fresh mozzarella and a sprig or two of fresh bagel on a good day.

spinach, mushrooms, mozzarella, feta, sundried tomatoes in olive oil, garlic. mmmmmm man, this is going to be a long year without an over :(

White pizza. Mmm, I love you tomatoes but I love cheese way more.
