Nutraloaf?
So bad it's allegedly punishment for prison inmates. Anyone got a recipe? Ever tried it?

I think your questions beg these questions: Why do you want the recipe? Is there someone you want to use it on?? ;-)

In the case of prisons, (or many other large institutional food services), tasteless would acrually be an improvement!

OMG!!! Never thought I'd ever see that on here!! We served it to inmates who threw food/drinks/trays at officers at the county jail where I used to work. It consisted of whole wheat bread, squash, tomato paste, great northern beans, and a few other things. The smell was horrendous, I can't imagine the taste. It did accomplish the purpose of reducing assaults on staff with food service items. It could even be made thin enough to fit through the 1.5 inch gap under the door, if the inmate was attempting to assault the officer if the food portal (the little hatch in the door) was opened. In case you're curious, we got the recipe off the internet.

Yummy!, I'd gladly pay on Tuesday, for a nutraloaf today.

Our nutriloaf contained no meat, but i think there was milk in it, maybe. But definitely no meat. I don't think the meatloaf had meat, either.

Something must happen in the cooking process, or maybe there's a total absence of salt, but it's hard to imagine that the listed recipe could produce something so foul that you have to be flinging your own waste at people in order to deserve eating it.
I think if you throw in a sachet of onion soup mix, you'd have Sandra Lee's meatloaf (oh no, not that again...).
