I have seen recipes using them in salad, but I have not used them.

I add them to chili (you may want to chop them into shorter pieces, though.) I've also had them in burritos.

they are good - they sort of taste like green beans, but have the texture of okra. Fresh is much better than canned, we can get them here in Phoenix at the market already cleaned and diced. I like them in scrambled eggs.... I also make a veggie side dish by just combining them with frozen corn and pop in the micro for a couple of minutes and add butter - yum!

I've had them and my dad eats them often. They're good in scrambled eggs and they're often used as a topper for things like tacos.
