Friends Arriving - Where to get Pizza?
So I have three friends arriving tomorrow and they want "real" NYC pizza. Looking for pizza and a soda, around $15/person, where do I take them? I was thinking the UES John's (better quality than the other locations), but there has to be better pizza out there. Ideas? Thanks!

1) Luzzo's east village best pizza outside of Naples (fits your budget)
2) I would put John's at #2
3) Lombardi's in Nolita
trust me Luzzo's is far and away your best bet

Take them to Grimaldi's in Brooklyn! I just had visitors in town this weekend and took them there, and it was great, as usual. Don't be daunted by the line, it moves fast. Grimaldi's is right under the Brooklyn Bridge; while you're there go down to the ferry landing or up to the Brooklyn Promenade for one of the best views of Manhattan. If you have time, you can also walk over the Brooklyn Bridge.

I'm with KitchenKore -- and then after you have pizza you can get ice cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. They can be a little grumpy, but the vanilla and chocolate-chocolate chunk are delish. Yum yum. Can I come too? :)
