Fondue Night!

We're having a fondue night at our house this Friday. What other appetizers should I also have for those who might not be too much into the fondue?

A map to the door. I wouldn't want to party with someone who didn't like fondue. :)

I'm not so sure I'd be as abrupt as clemon79. I'd give them the TV Guide and meet up with them in the den a little later in the evening ;~)

Fondue is so much fun!
We usually have a fondue night every year with our dinner club. For me, the only problem is I tend to talk & drink all night and not eat much ... put me in that fun, fondue atmosphere and I get carried away! We joke now about going for a burger before fondue night.
The only thing I would add is a salad - if you have hearty dippers (sausage, coooked chicken etc. in addition to bread) for your cheese fondue and serve a chocolate fondue (with fruit, cookies, & pretzels) for dessert, then you have covered a lot of bases (to mix culinary & sports metaphors!)
If your guests know they are coming for a fondue party, don't worry too much about other foods - if they don't like fondue they can snack before or after.

I agree with SSMom. Fondue can fill you up really fast, so a salad would be a good appetizer for your fondue-loving guests as well.

Thanks to all who've commented!

One more thing I must all, all of us are practicing lent. So, it's an all veggie night.

Instead of a traditional salad, why not a wide variety of crudite. You could make a bagna cauda so that guests could dip in either

Mmm fondue party. Great idea. Other appetizers? Let's see...meatballs, chips and dips, or some sort of finger sandwiches.
