First Day of Spring!
Tomorrow is the first day of spring? What will you be making to celebrate? What foods are coming into season that you are really looking forward to? For me, strawberry season is fast approaching and I can't wait for an open-faced strawberry pie!

I'm excited about the first day of spring, too, but we are still surrounded by turnips, potatoes, and other wintered-over things, so I am not too worked up about the first spring meal. I'll come out of hibernation when ramps arrive!

Today's rain has morphed into snow, so I suspect nothing "springy" will be in my grocer's for a few more weeks. As it will be my first spring in Indy, I do not know if ramps will make it to the farmer's market...pretty positive it won't make it to Marsh, the local grocery chain. *sigh*
