Can't wait to eat your book! Does it by any chance have recipes for the two impossible-to-find recipes: Grossinger's Bakery Praline Ice Cream Cake and Ebinger's Mocha Blackout Cake?

Ukist: Arthur's book, while it has a lot of great cake recipes in it — orange sponge cake, pareve apple-walnut cake, lekach — does not have the two you've mentioned here.

Ebingers blackout cake(not mocha) is in his New York cookbook. I am an ex Brooklynite, and I only remember a blackout cake, not a mocha blackout cake. The blackout cake is also in Molly O'Neil's New York cookbook.

There's also a recipe for a Brooklyn Blackout Cake in Gale Gand's book Butter Sugar Flour Eggs. It's outstanding.
