I'm back in NYC for a couple of days, and would love to hear of any recent and much-enjoyed food-related finds you may have come across in the last few months... it seems as if things are changing even faster than usual, these days, and a lot of my old favourites are just GONE.

A good Banh Mi, Shake Shack minus the crazy lines...Pince Taqueria, Freeman's, Death and Company for cocktails, also Tailor for cocktails, BLT Burger, Cuban Sandwiches at the Spotted Pig, Hanger Steak ssams at Momofuku, Bun at Pho Bang....what kind of food are you looking for? Any kind of price range?

I was there last weekend just for a whirlwind day and went to Kitchenette for breakfast with a big group of friends. It's tiny, sunny and has delicious food. The baked goods look incredible and there's lots of adorable kids to watch toddling along with cupcakes. Tribeca.

Thanks for the suggestions, I wish I had a bit longer, here, so I could try some of these; I've been picking up so many hard-to-find items, to bring back with me, I haven't really sat down to eat anywhere!
I also wish I'd been more specific in my original post: I was thinking more in terms of shopping for ingredients. Although I no longer live in NYC, when I visit, I still shop as though I did, that is, I still think in terms of raw ingredients, particularly as it is so difficult to find a lot of international items in in Denmark (and when I do find them they are so expensive).
But thanks for the suggestions (I've made a note of them, for the NEXT time I come back).
