Ordering chiles online?
I'd like to make a mole recipe that calls for chilhuacles, pasillas and guajillos, but I don't feel like driving all over Tucson to find each kind. Does anyone order chiles online and want to recommend where? Thanks!

other than chilhuacles (I don't know what variety of chile that is though, and lots of chiles have multiple names, so maybe it is something I am able to get), I can buy both the pasillas and guajillos here in North Carolina at a regular grocery store and at tiendas.
I assume that in Tuscon, there would be many, many stores or tiendas nearby that would offer all three varieties without driving all over the city.

after a bit of research, it seems that chilhuacles are a bit rare, some folks got them from the CMC company

and rancho gordo might have grown some.

Thanks intheyearofthepig! And yes, granted, I could probably locate the chiles locally, but we live a bit out of town and I prefer not to have the two kids in tow while I'm out shopping, so I thought I'd go mail order! I did see the pasillas at the nearest grocer yesterday though, so that is a good sign. I'll check out CMC next. Thanks again!
