My favorite Hershey's Kiss flavor is _____
Hershey's Kisses turned 100 years old back on 7/7/07, 80 million are produced daily and continues to be one of the most popular candies in the world. Flavors come & go with seasons & popularity...so over the years, what flavor has been your favorite...milk, caramel-filled, dark choc cherry cordial, mint...or another? btw...one Hershey's Kiss weighs in at only 26 calories...even Ed could work that in to his daily meal planning:)

Mmmm...such a toss up!
I'm going to go with Dark chocolate, followed by Hot Cocoa and Dark chocolate cherry cordial in a close third!

A Hershys Kiss is milk chocolate as a Hersheys Kiss is milk chocolate as a Hersheys Kiss is ....
period.

They all have an unpleasant waxy taste, imo. :/

I like the peanut butter ones because you can collapse them with your tongue before they entirely melt. I do not have any idea why this matters.

Way, way too sweet for me. Also, dislike the odd, almost gritty texture. Finally, just not a fan of milk chocolate. That said, if I'm going to eat one, I'd prefer it be of the almond variety, please.

The milk chocolate cherry cordial are irresistable. Seriously.
The hot cocoa kisses are really gross and chalky.

A couple of years ago they made one called Candy Cane Kisses - they were real white chocolate (made with cocoa butter) flavored with peppermint. They had little crunchy nonpariels in them. They were great.
Then they mucked up the recipe this past year with a bunch of tropical oils and partially hydrogenated fats... blech.
So it's back to the good old fashioned Milk Chocolate for me. (They're the only ones that are deposited and not molded.)

Caramel-filled...so great! Even better if they've been in the freezer for a while!

Hugs are my true favorite. But I like dark, almond and of course original. They're so great to end a meal with a little something sweet!

Really only like the milk chocolate. I eat them even though I know it is not very good chocolate. Every now and then I tell myself that I am only going to eat "really good" chocolate in an attempt to cut down on my chocolate consumption. Usually sometime later, ok maybe 10 minutes later, I have a handful of Kiss wrappers in my hand with no idea how they got there. Apparently my palate is not very discriminating. Darn that jar of Kisses on the counter at work (at least I do not buy them myself to have at home)!

I am not a Hershey's chocolate fan.

Anyone make the peanut butter kiss or thumb print cookies using one of the Hershey's Kisses?
JEP at 8:57AM on 02/09/08
I do love those peanut butter kiss cookies!
mrsmoosie at 10:08AM on 02/09/08
1. milk chocolate
2. almond
3. cherry cordial
those peanut butter cookies/with the kiss in the middle are one of my husband's favorite cookies. they are also good baked in a mini muffin pan with a mini reese cup pushed in...heavenly!

Almond Kisses are probably the best of the lot, IMO.
After that, probably a plain milk chocolate now and then.
The white chocolate or the white chocolate/milk chocolate swirl Kisses are pretty nasty. Waxy and insipid multiplied ten fold!
I gotta admit, I've never tasted many of the Kiss flavors, have I been missing out on a (peculiar) taste experience?
fuuchan at 4:38PM on 02/09/08
I don't fancy Hershey's chocolate either as it doesn't taste like chocolate to me. Which is why if I had to, I'd probably go for an Almond Kiss - certainly less "chocolate" there:-).
brooke29 at 4:42PM on 02/09/08
Another non-fan of Hershey's chocolate here. But I don't really mind the peanut butter kisses - they're like teeny tiny Reese's peanut butter cups, but not quite as good. Oh well.

If you created your own Hershey's Kiss flavor...what would it be?
JEP at 5:39PM on 02/09/08
I do like myself some of that really smooooth Belgian milk chocolate, but guilty pleasure-wise, I'm admitting pure unadulterated joy with a fistful of good old original milk chocolate kisses. The shame...
I try to tell myself I like the dark better, but that's only because I now know dark chocolate is better for you, theoretically. OK, the dark chocolate espresso kisses are really pretty good. Not easy to find, though.
frederika at 10:50PM on 02/09/08
P/B Kiss cookies are decent. That's the only time I eat kisses.
Does anybody watch _Project_Runway_ on BRAVO? Did you see the episode where the designers got to raid the Hershey Store in Times Square for materials for an outfit? What a challenge.
Check this out: http://www.hersheys.com/projectrunway/
The red twizzler bodice and flapper skirt was stunning! The metallic kiss bubble-skirt featured on the website is fun, too.

It would be something like...
NEW! IMPROVED! Hershey's Kisses, are now made by Vahlrohna!
LoCo at 1:52PM on 02/10/08
Milk chocolate. The original... and the best!!!!
MadelynRodriguez at 3:09PM on 02/10/08
Definitely the coconut cream-filled ones. They came out around Easter last year, so I'm hoping to see them pop up on shelves again soon.
My roommate and I froze some, chopped them up, and threw them into chocolate chip cookie batter. Those were some amazing cookies.
And of course, I'm a sucker for the originals, the almond ones, and the dark chocolate ones.
I'm not a fan of Hugs. They don't really count anyways since white chocolate isn't really chocolate.
Megs915 at 4:14PM on 02/10/08
the peanut butter ones are really awesome because they are always creamy
