Biodiversity 'doomsday' vault

I saw this article on Yahoo today & thought it might be of interest to Serious Eats readers. it's good to know someone is planning for our food future.

That's swell.

I think it's cool. I'm a veggie gardener, so I'm a total seed nut, and I would love the opportunity to visit and see it in a few yeears.

I hope they get some seeds from a hot dog tree.

They should stockpile in some embryos of the major animals that we eat or use products from too.
