Au Pied De Cochon - Montreal - Must order ____?

I've never tried foie gras (because let's face it, I'm a little afraid to) and I thought if I was going to try it, I should try it somewhere it is very well prepared. So I'm going to Au Pied De Cochon and I am very undecided about what to order. Suggestions? Thoughts?

My favorite Phoenix food reviewer/blogger was recently there! Here is a link to his review ... http://feastinginphoenix.com/?p=274

Every single item on the menu is incredible. If you've scheduled a week long trip, try and make 6 reservations, because then you can do the menu justice.

Otherwise, if you really only have one night, make an early reservation and let them know you want a long meal, and go with as many people as possible.

But the Pied De Cochon itself is very memorable. If I had to choose one thing, I'd get that.

Unfortunately when we phoned they said they are booked through to April and we got their last/only available February reservation (10:30 pm). Great luck for us, but much later than we normally eat. I know the place is worth it though, so we considered ourselves lucky and took it.

I went there last summer ... filled with great expectation and left, not disappointed, but certianly not fulfilled. I had an amazing salad topped with fg, but my fg burger was overpowered - balsamic reduction too intense. The pig in the can is raved about! Be weary of pricey wine list - guess that's Canada?! I do want to go back again as I'm not prepared to write the place off yet!!

My wife had the foie gras sushi roll which was amazing. Actually everything there was amazing.

The foie gras poutine was awesome!
