Where to find Branston Pickles in the US?

On a lovely trip to Prague this past November, my mother and grandmother and I stopped into an Irish pub (Cafferty's, I believe) for some sort of food just to keep us going before we got back to the hotel.

We had a GREAT Irish cheddar cheese sandwich, with what I now know are Branston Pickles.

After claiming I was actually going to figure this out, I now have! Which moves me on to the next part of this adventure--finding them.

Does anyone know if Branston Pickles are sold anywhere around the metropolitan D.C. area? I can see that they're web-available, which will be my next stop. But I figured if anyone would know, you guys would.

Thanks!

I buy it at Wegman's. You can find a Wegman's by using their location map http://www.wegmans.com/about/storeLocator/

Also I forgot it is Branston Pickle not Pickles.

At Keswick and Myers in New York, and also at Fairway in New York.

Branston Pickle is like a thick, sticky relish made up of -- you guessed it! -- pickles, other fruit and veg (cauliflower and apple, to name a few...) and assorted spices.

You can find it in just about any old grocery store here in Houston, so I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to find in cosmopolitan D.C. Just check the "international" or "British" food section. If all else fails, you can order it online but expect to pay a premium.

My husband loves pickle with cheese on toast (or, as I make it, grilled cheese). I'm slowly learning to like it. :)

In the Boston area I have seen it at Stop & Shop.

I've seen it at several Krogers in Virginia.

You guys are the best! And JerzeeTomato, thanks--I was wondering whether it was just Branston Pickle.
