Eating out in Madrid
My sister and I are moving to Madrid for the next six months and we take off off in three days! Please tell me about your favorite restaurants in the city. Where should we be sure to go? Any other food related adventures we should go on?

My biggest recommendation (having lived in Spain a couple of times, though not in Madrid) is to at least at one point try their version of the fast food joint - Pans and Company. Fresh, really crunchy baghet (I completely just blanked on how to spell that) loaves filled the lots of things. The traditional is tortilla (Spanish omelette) and that is my favorite.
Also, try "chocolate". If you want a hot chocolate and ask for that, you are likely to get Cola Cao, which is their version of stir and mix. "Chocolate" is essentially a melted chocolate bar in a cup. Far better, if you like chocolate.
Chorizo doens't get better than in Spain, and jamon iberica is a must.

Very excellent!
Also try the tapas bars, clubs and the jamonerias. Be sure to visit El Corte Ingles - great food to nosh!
