Dinner in the Middle East?
I'm flying out to visit my boyfriend, who is working in Saudi Arabia for a year. While I'm there, he turns 25, and I'd like to take him out to a really nice meal We'll be spending part of the trip in Manama, Bahrain, and part of it in Doha, Qatar. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have any good restaurant suggestions?

That sounds so wonderful! We may be spending time in SA, UAE, Turkey, and Egypt in the next year or so, on business, and I just can't wait. Be sure to tell us what you end up doing! I may need your pointers!
BTW, I obviously can't help you with SA, but if you squeeze in a few days in the UAE, I have friends in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi where you're assured of finding some fantastic world-class dining options...
