I'd recommend The Flying Biscuit or Floataway Cafe. Flying Biscuit is more of a breakfast/brunch joint, but they do serve dinner. These aren't terribly close to the airport, but are worth the 20-30 minute drive.

You REALLY SHOULD go to http://www.rthomasdeluxegrill.com/ at some point during your stay in HOTLANTA .....
"We offer real food choices for both carnivores and vegetarians alike."
AND its OPEN 24 HOURS a DAY - SEVEN DAYS a WEEK !!
You would think this would hinder the quality of the food .... NOT at ALL ...
Check out the website for directions, menu, and the whole story.
I NEVER make a trip through without stopping in ......
