America's Test Kitchen: Anyone else sign up to be a tester?
My goal is to try all the recipes, we'll see how it goes! Anyone else? I must admit I have never read a copy of Cook's Illustrated :)

I signed up. The challenge for me is going to be sticking to the recipes without fooling around with them and adding stuff. My guess is they want to test them out precisely. I've never read CI either, and was thinking I might get a subscription. Their show, America's Test Kitchen on PBS is pretty good, I especially like their product comparisons and reviews.

seyo - i signed up and didn't get a confirmation email either. i haven't gotten any recipes to test, although i only signed up yesterday.

I love the show, refer to their cookbook all the time, and joined the website, so I have recipes, equipment ratings and taste testings at my disposal at all times. Every recipe I've tried is spot on and delicious.
I considered being a tester, but I have to have my groceries delivered, and can't always get the ingredients I want or ordered. I'd love to be a part of creating the perfect recipe. I hope you all enjoy the experience.

No I did not get a confirmation email, just a screen that said the first recipe would be sent in a few weeks. Fun!

I signed up too. I buy love CI, and "The New Best Recipes" is by far my most used cookbook. Looking forward to it!

I signed up...and got the same message erin got. I think that is our only confirmation. I also subscribe to their web site, instead of the magazine....and adore the show...so I'm looking forward to the challenge of testing the recipes. I only hope my husband is too....otherwise I need to find some guinea pigs!

I signed up and just got the confirmation screen as well. I told my husband about it, and told him we must not stray from the recipe, he looked like a lost puppy, he almost never follows a recipe to a tee.

I signed up a number of months ago and have gotten three recipes to date; I didn't make the first two because they contained meat. But I will be making the most recent one I got.
