Toledo, Ohio: Best eats?
I'm heading to Toledo OH for a New Year's eve wedding and have one additional night to eat (Sunday, the 30th). My family is a bunch of New York foodies who need some good food to help us forget the cold! Anyone have a "can't miss" spot in Toledo?

I live six miles north of Toledo (just came back from finishing up Christmas shopping there this morning) and videotaped this year's Taste of the Nation: Toledo fundraiser event for Share Our Strength. We've tried a lot of the restaurants in town, and have a few recommendations for you. We consider any of these "can't miss" and take guests from out-of-town to these places in a kind of random selection:
Frog Leg Inn - As I built and run their web site, I'm a bit biased. But the local reviewers consistently give the gang 5 stars.
Cousino's Navy Bistro - Mainly steak and seafood, the view of the city across the river is almost as good as the food.
Real Seafood - In the same building at The Docks as the Navy Bistro, we like this Ann Arbor-based restaurant just a bit better than the Bistro. My fave is their Lake Superior Whitefish with Dried Michigan Cherries (page 50 in their cookbook).
Mancy's - Any of their different restaurants are great, especially the steakhouse. Best French Onion Soup in town.
Tony Packo's - We've found any M*A*S*H fan who comes to town whom we take here just goes nuts walking into the place. At least go to the gift shop at the Front St. location.
Gianno's at The Inn - Chef Mike is probably the most creative chef in town, also operating the daily-changing Cohen & Cooke. This one would be a bit more difficult to get to though.
Manhattan's - Chef Jeremiah just reworked a lot of the menu. For fun, the menu items are mostly named for something in NYC.

It is by no means fancy, but Tony Packo's (yup, the place Max Klinger on M*A*S*H, always talked about) is a must try!
The hot dogs are fabulous and the "Wall of Autographed Buns" is a good conversation piece.

Looks as though my recommendations (with seven or so links) landed in the spambot. Can someone fish it out please? Thanks!

I would second Real Seafood and Tony Packo's - Tony Packo's is definitely not fancy, but it seems everyone wants to head there when in the area. I am just north of Detroit and we head down to these two places a couple of times a year.

I know this is after-the-fact, but in case anyone else is headed there...
I grew up in Toledo, and would also recommend Packo's. You'll never forget it. Also, if you are looking for really good THIN pizza, you gotta go to this little hole in the wall place called Inky's (short for Incavaglia's).

They have good Italian food, too, but the pizza is the best anywhere.
