I thought that I had tasted what could be the best chocolate chip cookie in the city...at Chocolate Haven, at City Bakery, Levain, etc., but last night, I was floored by a dessert that topped any of those experiences. Next time you're on Houston street, head over to Houston and Thompson. Jane serves the best damn milk and cookies dessert that I have ever had. period. Robyn, this means YOU!

i've eaten often at jane -- when the lines are too long at lupa, it's a favorite fallback option. i've seen that milk and cookies plate go by. will have to try it next time!

I guess Jane is the popular alternative to Lupa, because I also discovered Jane when Lupa was too crowded. I have never had the chocolate chip cookies there ,so I think I'll have to go back soon!!!!

I'm afraid I've never eaten at Jane before despite having walked by it innumerable times and known of its potential deliciousness. Now I have more reason to go. Thanks for the heads up!
