What is the best vegetarian restaurant in E. Village?

And please don't sayCaravan Dreams or Angelika. I am looking for new places to eat in my 'hood...

So many!

There are tons of places that are veggie friendly, but for strictly vegetarian, I really like Pukk on 1st Ave near 6th - it's a Thai place that goes so far as to not use fish-based ingredients.

I don't want to go on and on and on, so send me an email if you'd like and I'd gladly give you some more recommendations. raspberryeggplant at gmail dot com

Lan Cafe isn't bad for BYOB veggie Vietnamese.

For casual joints, I like Curly's (14th St. between 1st and 2nd) and B&H Dairy (2nd Ave between 7th and 8th St) - B&H is not 100% vegetarian, because they serve some fish, but it's clearly marked on the menu.

kate's place!!!! hands down the best vegetarian place in the village for years!!!!

I love Angelica Kitchen! It's a great neighborhood mainstay, but I understand you can't eat there all the time. Whenever I'm looking for vegan-friendly restaurants in NYC, I check the restaurant finder on:
