Swiss Basler Leckerli - Anyone have a good recipe?
Hello all, my dad has been feeling down in he dumps and I thought to cheer him up I might send him something yummy. What I had in mind was Swiss Basler Leckerli. My dear dad loves the stuff and can't find it anywhere and I think it would be very thoughtful and kind of me, so mostly because I'm a very considerate daughter and a little because I'd like a few myself. (All in the name of quality control) Also it’s a pretty dry, sturdy cookie so I figure it might FedEx well. Problem is, of course, I do not have a recipe. I checked all the usual places but only found one online, I hesitate to try it because I have no way of knowing if its good and it includes 5-6 hours of rest time. So I'd rather take the word of a serous-eater out there who might have an amazing recipe. Please help if you can!

My husband and friends have been making a recipe we have for years. Normally we make 80 pounds in Nov and ship it all over the place. Would be glad to send you it. Not sure how to do it...but let me know
