Over the years, I'm sure there have been a few holiday meals that a dish or two just didn't measure up either taste or appearance-wise. Was it something prepared by family? Left the little bag of giblets inside the turkey? Burned or undercooked food? A dish that nobody really liked but felt compelled to prepare out of tradition? At my house, I'm recalling those little creamed onions everone hated & one of those layered jello ring molds that not only didn't set-up but slid off the plate :( What holiday dish just didn't meet your criteria?
