Just wanted to fly by and say, Gobbler's in the oven, everything else is either done or well on the way...And I wanted to say thank you to the Serious Eats community. This site totally rocks and it's great to find so many kindred spirits in one place! Hope you have a bountiful and safe T-Giving with family and friends.

Same here, bird is in the oven and the house is filled with smells of turkey, rosemary and sage... so it's time to kick back and relax until dinner time. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at SE and it's memebers. A toast to everyone! Cheers!

happy thanksgiving chiffonade! i just sat down (on the floor) after a marathon cooking session... my "desk" (the dining room table) has been taken over and is now set and ready to go, and my computer is on a chair. i've got a glass of champagne in one hand, and this is the first moment i've had to myself all day ... and i'm happy!
wishing you all a fantastic day. don't forget to sit on the floor at some point and reflect on things. it's doing me some good.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the day after! I just recently stumbled on to Serious Eats and it's become an obsessive daily ritual. It's a wonderful place...kindred spirts indeed. You all have been a lifesaver to me this Thanksgiving and I am ever so grateful for all of you. I found an answer to all my questions and that was such a relief. It was a lot of work, but very rewarding and just for today I am going to bask in the glow of the meal.
