Color...what are your favorite white foods?

Nutrition experts recommend we eat "a rainbow of colors" daily. I'm compliant. Then I started thinking about how many white colored foods I also include in my daily intake.

Fage yogurt
rice pudding
milk
cauliflower
Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream
cottage cheese
bananas (peeled)
mashed potatoes

In the hospital a "white diet" is often recommended to soothe nausea.

What white foods do you eat?

24 Comments:

Mashed potatoes
Fage Yogurt
Edy's Dreamery vanilla ice cream
Pavlovas
and for the very best thing ever: 4 cheese lasagna in white sauce

Whipped Cream
Meringues (cookies or pie topping)
Fage Yogurt (even 0% is sooooo creamy)
Calamari
Marshmallows
White Asparagus
Cream of Wheat
Brie
Steamed Milk

Homemade angel food cake--does anyone make these anymore?

Hah! Couldn't believe when I saw this question -- I eat an almost entirely white diet:
Rice
Rice Krispies
Mashed potatoes
Stonyfield's Organic Vanilla yogurt
Breyer's Vanilla Ice Cream
Swiss Miss Vanilla Pudding
Cottage Cheese
Rice Pudding
American Cheese (none of that yellow dye for me!)
Chicken breast

Yeah, JEP! Angel food cake is my favorite. Oh, and we can't forget cheesecake. Pears and Parmesan (yes, together!), too. And sourdough bread. This is hard. There are quite a few...

A lot of my favouites have already been said, but how about:

"Pre-porn" poached eggs, and Malted milk*

*Not strictly pure white, but has that pure and wholesome "whiteness".

Adding sugar cookies & white chocolate :)

Don't eat these but willing to throw on our list---onions :(

White Cheeses (almost all of them)
Milk (Stremmick's Heritage Farm 1%)
White Rice (especially Cal Rose)
Mashed Potatoes
Alfredo Sauce
Cottage Cheese
White Custards, Puddings, etc.
Hominy (although I do prefer the yellow)
New England Clam Chowder
White Peaches (right off the tree)
Fish

Um. Does WHITE WINE count? (I like reds best, but I'll take what I can get)

Also like to drink evaporated milk straight out of the can.

coconut cake
cauliflower
cottage cheese
chowder
cream of mushroom soup
cheesecake
rice
fish
tortillas

coconut cream pie
coconut sticky rice
rice pudding
rice with hot milk/sugar/cinnamon
sweetened condensed milk from the can (lol)
mashed potatoes
natillas
marhsmallows
tortillas
cream of wheat

I even like those totally white mushrooms :)

I like macaroni and cheese with white cheddar! That and rice pudding :)

Chew on That
