I also think it's a little crazy...seems like it would be a clogging nightmare, not to mention what goes into the batter in order to make it easily delivered to the pan...hmm.

You've got to be kidding !!!!

GROSS and incredibly lazy.
ChelleyD01 at 2:23PM on 10/28/07
This makes me just shake my head... and, yeah, almost gag. Ugh!
Alm25 at 4:35PM on 10/28/07
Lazy, crazy, and the apostrophe in the "it's" on the front page is incorrect. Three strikes and you're out.
kmnola at 6:49PM on 10/28/07
Ew. How could this ever taste like anything but chemicals?
Christina at 9:46PM on 10/28/07
I expect to see that crap on an upcoming episode of Semi-Homemade.

OMG all it makes me think of is the Saturday Night skit its a dessert topping, no its a floor wax, you're both right!

Truly grosses me out.

I agree! It's nuts! It's just like buying tuna in a bag. Yuck. Keep things the way they are! Haha.

Hillary, while I agree that the batter blaster idea is just gross, tuna in a bag really tastes better! Try it, I promise. Virtually no straining necessary and it doesn't taste metallic at all...

Tuna in a bag reminds me of canned chicken, something I never knew existed 'til a little while ago.

The comments posted above for Batter Blaster are simply a laugh. Disapointing as well, as I am sure none of you have even tried the product. It is amazing to me that you all have judged a book by its cover rather than making a real comment based on the truth in a taste test. One taste of the Organic, low sodium, low calorie, low fat, Batter Blaster and you will have a different attitude and response. This product is clearly a trend setter and will be as common in the grocery store as bread & milk. Those of you who critisize now will only be left to wonder what everyone else is enjoying while you mix up your own mess.

Your comment sounds like a commercial, cookzfood. I don't mean offense, but it really does!
The idea is just really weird...I can't imagine anything as thick as pancake batter being delivered through aerosol...
You might as well just buy the cartons of pre-made batter if time and convenience is an issue...I don't see why its necessary to...uh...spray it. Oh well, a gimmicks a gimmick.
Maybe it does turn out decent pancakes, but personally I'd rather see the whole ingredients going into my food. The ingredients in Batter Blaster aren't that offensive (xantham gum, chemical leavening, products derived from food, at least), but they're still manufactured derivatives I prefer not to eat if whole eggs, milk and flour are already on hand all the time.
fuuchan at 11:01PM on 11/01/07
I won't be wondering. I'll be eating homemade pancakes.
I never agonize over the possibility that my neighbor is enjoying bottled salad dressing while I make my own vinegrette, either.
Ann Fisher at 8:02AM on 11/02/07
I don't think I'd buy it myself....perhaps for camping - where it might be a convenience.....but it's not too hard to make yourself.
kmnola....the apostrophe is correct in the use of it's though....
from Grammerbook.com:
"Rule 8 The only time an apostrophe is used for it's is when it is a contraction for it is or it has.
Examples It's a nice day.
It's your right to refuse the invitation.
It's been great getting to know you."
In this case it's is shortened for it is......

Cookzfood surely invented the product, with that plug! I think that the entire concept is uproariously funny...What on earth is in that product? It almost seems like a joke.
