I need chicken blood
Now that I have your attention. It is not for any type of voodoo ritual, it is actually part of a rice recipe that I had in Portugal. I live in NYC but can travel to NJ or Conn. If it is as good as the one I had I will post this recipe. I don't need alot just a pint or so.

And/or maybe in the Ironbound section of Newark, which has a large Portuguese population...
The only store name I can think of for you to call there is Seabra's, which has numerous restaurants and stores throughout that section of the city. Can't hurt to call and ask!

You may go to Seabra's Supermarket in Newark, NJ. They have a Portuguese butcher who can probably help you with that.
Here is the address:
260 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ

chinese markets sell steamed pork, duck, and chicken blood (they're sliced and used in soup or stir fries). you can ask the butcher if they sell it uncooked. good luck!
