Heirloom Beans--Any Knowledge?
My organic squash farmer just gave me samples (1 cup each) of three different heirloom beans--dutch bullet, arikara and Boston Favorite. Any suggestions for recipes?

My friend Steve Sando, whose fantastic heirloom beans are available through his website, has some great recipes there as well.

Exactly where I was going to send you!
I met Steve years ago at the farmer's market @ Lake Merritt (CA) and in addition to knowing a lot about good beans, he's a DOLL.

Heh. Great minds etc., Curlz!
I recently met him in person for the first time (at Ferry Plaza). He's devastatingly handsome, too! And such a sweetheart.
