Guilty Pleasures

I recently got re-addicted to Spaghetti-O's after years of not eating them and now I can't stop! What guilty pleasures from the past have you recently resurrected?

28 Comments:

Frito Pie - - - so easy, so delicious, so filling. Or "Mexican Jambalaya" in my school district - I have no idea why it was called that, but everyone ate in the cafeteria on MexJam day.
It's Fritos, Chili, Cheese (that's where it stops traditionally), but in my part of the woods, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and rice are added to it for a seriously filling meal.
I can wolf down bowl after bowl of this stuff until I'm sick!

Oh my god I love Spaghetti-O's. They're SO good! I told my boyfriend about the obsession and he was disgusted. Just because we have fine taste in food doesn't mean we can't have some guilty pleasures, too!

i loved choc pudding as a kid and have recently brought it back into the mix and can't get enough. instant jello. yum!

That is TOO funny because I used to LOVE Spaghetti-O's. Now I would have to say, I often have an urge for Bagel Bites or a late night fast food fix. Soo bad!

Top Ramen, I used to eat it all the time when I was little, then strangely by the time I hit college I couldn't stand it. Now after 5 years I find myself craving it again!!!

I can't leave Costco without getting one of their giant hot dogs. I eat it in my car so no-one can see me!

Wow! I totally forgot about Top Ramen. I, too, lived on those for years (in teh old college days) and haven't had it in years, probably for the same reasons that you have...now I might have to try that, too!

For me:
Velveeta (especially in Ro-Tel dip)
White rice smothered with brown gravy
Canned green beans (I don't understand it myself)
Mac'n'cheese (Kraft-type) mixed w/crumbled ground beef and stewed tomatoes

For my hubby, it's been fried bologna and Ding Dongs lately (not together).

i love triscuit crackers with butter on them.

fluffernutter sandwiches...yum :-)

nutella. conveyed straight from jar to mouth via forefinger.

Ice cold iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing.
PB straight from the jar.
And my husband's got a thing for Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee ravioli that I don't really get.

And yes, aungeinphx, Costco's 'dogs are the best!

Ah, the sole item of fast-food I ever eat: Taco Bell bean burritos. I get them without onions and use four packets of hot sauce per burrito. This is my #1 craving when I work really late and all of a sudden notice I'm starving around 8:30 p.m. or so. Compared to TB, I feel like my other "guilty pleasure" candidates - chile con queso (Velveeta-style) and mashed potatoes as a main course - are practically health food.

like Dominic - Fluffernutters, or fluff straight from the container!

I have to agree on the Spaghettios... although they give me heartburn sometimes.

Triscuits and laughing cow cheese...

Swedish Fish!

French fries, especially crinkle-cut ones. Yom...

Also, though I appreciate good coffee, sometimes I have a craving for bad gas station coffee in a Styrofoam cup. Maybe it's the charming ambiance usually associated with coffee in a Styrofoam cup that does it. ;)

Totally agree on the coffee in a styrofoam cup thing - I often think: "Should probably have a drink before I go out...No! I'll use the machine! Woo!"

Always glad that I do, lol.

Gingersnaps with crunchy peanut butter.

Sliced tomato and onion with mayo, salt, and pepper on whole grain bread - runnin' down your elbows, eat over the sink good!

Really good Crusty bread or roll -- buttered and sprinkled with fresh cracked pepper and coarse salt -- Yummy!

After a recent post involving Taco Bell, I talked my wife into going on a quest with me for a few chili cheese burritos this weekend. Remarkably, I did not feel hung over the next morning! Unfortunately my wife wasn't so lucky. No more Taco Bell for us for quite a while.

Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls, homemade chocolate chip cookies, chocolate-covered raisins or peanuts and pumpkin spice mochas -- not all at once. When I'm feeling lazy, I just make mashed potatoes for dinner -- mmmm, comfort food.

Chocolate anything. And icing. And cakes. And Peanut Butter. No! The ultimate is definitey a spoonful of Skippy and Nutella.

Marshmallow peeps...not just for Easter anymore. I can eat them until I feel sick and then do it again the next day!

I enjoy marshmallow peeps also. But instead of eating them fresh and soft I open the pack and let the air get in and wait a day or two until they get hard. They have a chewy delicious texture when they are hard.Try it you might ENJOY IT!!

Cheetos--the crunchy ones, not the puffy ones

eggs benedict. i don't eat it often but man when i get a jones, i just gotta have it!

Peanut M & Ms... I find myself buying the "family size" bag and somehow they disappear without the help of my family...

Mac N Cheese!
