Anyone remember Morton Honey Buns?
I was feeling kind of nostalgic today when I remembered those wonderful Morton Honey Buns and that were cooked in the oven as a kid. I did a search and of course, they are no longer made, but do you remember them? I used to cook them until the glaze started to bubble on top and the bottom was nice crispy...

I remember them! They were a guilty pleasure of mine... along with Sara Lee Banana Cake (sadly no longer sold retail anymore).

I once had one of these. My mother's good friend was a famous non cook.
She used to have her parties catered and her dinners was famously Sandra Lee in that they came out of boxes and jars. When we were kids she once grabbed a box of these and said here is a nice snack for you.
We opened the box and declared '"look frozen cake in a box", which at the time I have never seen.
I couldn't wait to tell my mother about it. Which was probably not the best idea. I recall they were frozen and the icing was sweet.

Yes, I loved them. I remember there were 4 in a small box and they were and still are my favorites. Everytime I eat a Honeybun now, I silently compare in my mind how much I miss those original ones. They were 35 cents a box and I remember my mom got 4 boxes for a dollar years ago one time.
