San Diego here i come.......

I'm going to San Diego to visit friends for a few days. I visited last summer briefly. Any recommendations on where to eat? I had an amazing fish taco last time so I look fwd to another one. Any other suggestions on things to do or see would be great as well. 26/F/NYC

Here are some suggestions from a trusted foodie friend who lives there -

Mille Fleur, Rancho Santa Fe

Market, Rancho Santa Fe

Valentin's at The Lodge at Torrey Pines

George's at the Cove, La Jolla

Bertand's at Mr A's (great views, same owner as Mille Fleur)

Corners at the new Ivy Hotel

Addison's at the Grand Golf Club

Pacific Del Mar (great views, very good food)

Tapenade, La Jolla

Forgot to mention this...When I was there in May, we stumbled upon the USS Midway, which has been turned into a naval aviation museum. The tour is fascinating and fun.

Where are you staying?

If you're staying in Gaslamp quarter, Dakota's is pretty good. I had their Tri-tip with olive tapenade and beefsteak tomatoes. So good! I also hear Croce's is a fun and great restaurant.
