Natural cook top cleaner?

I have a flat ceramic top stove. It is supposed to be cleaned with a product called "Cook Top Cleaner" which is a nasty gray color and full of chemicals. Anyone have a natural recipe for cleaning these types of stoves? The stove is in an apartment I am renting, so I don't want to scratch it. (I miss my old gas stove, sigh)
